At the Swiss Cheese Championships in October 2006, Mont Vully Bio won the Swiss Cheese Award 2006 and has the right to call itself officially Swiss Cheese Champion. The Mont Vully Bio took first place against 436 other special cheeses and is thus considered to be the best semi-hard cheese in Switzerland.
By the way: All the cows pictured on our website are the ones that supply the milk for our Mont Vully Bio. They belong to the organic farmers François Müller and Jean-Pierre Sahli in Cressier and are kept and fed in strict accordance with Bio Suisse guidelines.
